Women and Gender Advocacy Center (WGAC) Confidential Survivor Support
✧ Victim Assistance Team: The 24-hour Victim Assistance Team (VAT) is available to assist survivors of interpersonal violence and their loved ones. All information shared with advocates is confidential unless the person is a danger to themselves, someone is in imminent danger, a child currently under 18 has been abused or if the perpetrator is currently in a position of power over minors (even if the survivor is over the age of 18). CSU Academic Courses
WS497- Fraternity & Sororities Against Sexual Assault Course
This class is taught each spring and exists to deepen and enliven the conversation related to interpersonal violence in our society, and most specifically, in fraternity and sorority life. Learn more about this course here.
WS397- Intro to Gender Based Violence in a US Context
This course is taught each spring and will closely examine interpersonal violence (sexual assault, relationship violence & stalking) in US culture. Learn more about this course here.
WS397- Victim Assistance Team (VAT)
This course is taught each fall and is designed to train participants to serve as volunteers on the university’s confidential, 24-hour hotline. Learn more about this course here.
WGAC Events
